What Are Your Dating Resolutions?

Happy New Year Everyone!

Florida has officially experienced winter. I can see the memes now.

I survived Florida winter 1/5/18-1/11/18

A good friend of mine mentioned that too many people are talking about "New Year, New You" but instead it should be the year you "Level Up."

If you're having trouble finding a relationship, it's a great time to work on yourself. Here are some things to work on the most important person... yourself.

1. Try something different

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. I recently read a fantastic book that talks about why we choose the men we do. Sometimes society and what is familiar pushes us into relationships that aren't exactly right.

2. Act Like You're in a Relationship

If you're going out every night, getting drunk with your girls, a serious guy is not going to take you, well, seriously. Take care of yourself. Love yourself and start focusing on what you want.

3. Stop Doing the Same Thing

Like we mentioned before, if it's not working, then why are you still doing it?

4. Focus on Yourself

They say when you stop worrying about finding a relationship, one magically happens. That's partially true. It's because you're not dwelling on every moment, stalking your exes, or planning a wedding when you don't even have a boyfriend.

Try working on yourself. Men love confident women, and a good man will respect one who is independent. You have goals. Take this year to focus on what you want to do to succeed, and the rest will fall into place. Check out Meetups, networking events, or take a class in your area.

Share with us your resolutions. We would love to hear them!
